but how do i muck a stall? i'm going to be mucking my dads friends sister's horse's stalls this sunday and in exchange she'll be letting me use her horses, so i'm real excited but i really don't want to embarrise myself

Horses lend us the wings we lack.

You will take all the soiled bedding out(menure and wet shavings or straw) and dispose of it in the proper fashion. It isn't that complicated. Remove poo- put it in poo pile DONE! ride time!

Basic mucking, just scoop the soiled parts (try not to get out too much clean bedding). For pee spots on dirt flooring, sprape it a bit to get out the wet parts

For a more thorough cleaning (shavings, not straw!) just scoop out the shavings and toss against the side of the stall. The wet bedding and poop will stay on top and you can scoop it easily. Toss the whole stall untill it's clean, then pull the clean shavings off the wall into the middle
