I know it's a pain but since the 22nd is a couple weeks from now, you might want to send her a quick e-mail every few days or so, just to let her know he's doing fine and you're looking forward to bringing him to his new home.

Basically head off any future calls from her by keeping her feeling informed and you can also use the later ones to *remind* her that you'll be picking up his final payment in XXX form (whatever form of payment you already agreed upon).

I will do exactly that. She's a really nice lady in person but patience is a virtue and she said she has never been good at waiting. Flip it around and I am the same way but not verbally to the owner. I pace holes in my floor and forget to sleep.

She said to keep her posted on him and I said I would see her on the 22nd so hopefully things are resolved.
Lol! Sounds like it calmed down (and yes, some people are just horribly impatient). I'll keep fingers crossed for it to work out finally!

Not to be a gloomy gus...but I will be crossing my fingers that the weather cooperates on the 22nd.....

I hope so. I also told her the 22nd is a Saturday so it gives me more time to bring him down and not feel rushed with Sunday evening traffic.
I'm going to keep her updated on him and she will feel much better when he is there with her.

When I have bought horses it has always been up to me to sort transport, when I have sold horses it has always been up to the buyer!

She called and said she found a trailer and when would be a good day to get him. It only shaves a few days off but if she wants to do it then it works.

That sure makes it easier for you, and takes the pressure off for sure. Just so she remembers the $$!
