QH congress

Has anyone ever gone to this? It is in ohio. I was invited to go for the weekend of the pole bending, and barrels. Just wanted to get some opinions before I spent the money on the trip!

I went one year to show. I had a lot of very exhausted fun, but I was grooming for the barn and showing one of their horses. I liked the trade show.

I've always wanted to go but never had the opportunity. Living in Canada has it's disadvantages :(

I have tried to go the last couple years. The first year I wanted to go and my husband was out of town (I had wanted to buy a collie over in the puppy alley, but they had none anyway). I bought one that same year and then the next year, my husband was in Afghanistan the first year I tried to go and I just plain chickened out. It's about an 8 hour drive for me and at the time my son was only 5. I was going to take the dog but I checkened out. Last year his back went out so no go again....

I'm planning to go this year. Hopefully it will happen this time. I would like to go for the sale... just to see, not to buy.
