    Question about Coggin's

I am going to a show and I just got my Coggin's in the mail. The problem is the breed on the paper is wrong. It says "Arab", when my horse is a QH (who may have some arab blood, so I guess that is where the confusion came from.) The Coggin's is done in pencil, so can I cross it out and write QH? Would that not be ok? How much does it matter?

Just call your vet and have them right up a new one. I did that this year because I wasn't at the barn when the vet came out to do Coggins and when I received mine in the mail, I apparently owned a 12-year old Quarter Horse because my BO didn't remember she was an 8 year old Paint. I just called my vet and asked for a corrected one, which I received without problem.

    I had a similar problem
They marked my mare as a gelding
It's not valid if we scratch/redo something
I just called my vet and they came out and did a retest (no charge)

They're not allowed to rewrite them up here D: we have to wait for them to retest !
