Question for Morgan folks

So I work at a summer camp. In one of the buildings that staff live in when we're not with campers has a room that has old broken halters for decoration. One was on the ground so I picked it up and noticed it had a nameplate on it that says Wetacres Perfection. After googling, I found out he was a stallion with 20 foals, but gelded when he was 7. Does anyone know this name? I'm just kind of curious as to how this halter ended up at camp..

Or maybe they bought it at a tack sale.

Honestly really doubt it was bought. While googling it, it said he was born in 1981 and the horses I found with him in the pedigree were mostly located in Canada, so it's possible someone who worked at camp in the past knew him.
