Question on my horses coggins papers

Well vet came out and did spring shots on my horse last month. I just got the coggins/rabies back today and it says he's a Grulla for color. He's clearly a gray and there are pictures on the coggins of him to show that. Should I have it corrected or does it not matter? It also says he's a Grulla on his rabies.

On my horse's papers it says shes a roan for color, but shes a dapple gray/rose gray.

I've never had a problem with it as long as I provide pictures of her, which is on the papers anyways. Next time I'd suggest to them the horse's color.

I had no idea they put down grulla til I just got the papers. I mean he's clearly a gray. And he even has some 'paint' spots when wet but that's irrelevant. He's not in anyway even near a grulla. Just a boring ol grey!

My buckskin Paint was listed as a Bay pinto QH It happens. At first, there was a picture of a sorrel mini on there! When I pointed it out they said they'd change it and email it to me. So long as they look like the pictures, you'll be fine. It's like listing yourself with brown hair for your drivers license, then dyeing it blonde. As long as you look like the picture, the cop don't care.

I personally would make them correct it. I never want anything to seem fishy.

Don't worry about it. Next time you have a Coggins done, just mention it before they fill out the form.

On the seventh day, he Painted the good ones.

The only time you really have to worry is if you're going to a show that inspects Coggin's and health papers. I had an inspector once that was mad because my vet didn't draw all the spots and lightning marks of my very loud appaloosa on his Coggin's!

If his pictures are on there, you should be okay.

This is a legal document folks. It needs to be correct.

They spelled my husbands name wrong - I mentioned it as no big deal but they said the document is not valid if the information is not correct. SO they redid the forms.
