Wow, those are pretty far apart, lol. Umm I have family in SC, but not on the horsey scene. I do know its a GREAT place for horses, lots of rolling hills and green pasture land....at least when theres not a drought going on.
I wouldn't say theres a HUGE difference between stables, really. Obviously the layouts going to be a little different, but we don't keep our horses on the roof, you know? lol. I'd say your biggest thing will probably be horse terminology. When you get into specific disciplines, maybe not, but there are lots of ways to say 'tomato'. xD
I was looking into an internship in Kentucky awhile back--its definitely a great place for learning!
