Rant! How hard is it to find a dang shipper?? Subtitled: Why ND? Why?

I've been looking around and trying to find a shipper to have my gelding hauled from N. IL to SW ND. Had some sorry luck so far! I have one okay offer, but I am otherwise SOL as far as shipping goes. Apparently no one really goes through North Dakota on their routes. What a pain.

Anyone have any suggestions for shippers (private or otherwise) that would be willing to do this route around the beginning of July?
Small, well mannered gelding. I'm thinking it'd be cheaper in the long run to just buy a little two horse and drive him up myself!

Thanks for the suggestions. The problem is finding someone that will go to ND. Most have full loads and keep to a more popular route. ND isn't exactly a hotspot. :/

Sky, they are based out of North Carolina and say that they don't go off of their way for a horse.

I'm kind of thinking that finding a private person to haul might be the way to go. :( It is an odd out of the place stop...
