This might sound dumb, but has anyone used this for a pony? I know a mare is a mare right? But I've only seen the posts on this in reference to horses and it just occurred to me tonight that shorty's attitude might be helped by this. Her name is Voodoo Star and she has her witchy woman attitude, makes my older horse mare seem like a gelding in comparison. My first thoughts were just being a pony, but maybe...this would make spring training more pleasant? She's 40 inches of attitude.o
OobieDoo I know that raspberry leaves are supposedly safe for mares and geldings but as I googled ponies and raspberry leaves I didn't find anything pony-specific, just horses. I would ask your vet about it.
I don't see why you couldn't use it. Maybe just use half the normal dose? It's safe and natural so I cannot see it being any issue Posted via Mobile Device
I use raspberyy leaves for my mini mare who gets a bit wound up when she goes into heat, and I've never had a problem. I give her about 1/3 of what you'd give a normal horse, since she only weighs 230 lbs or so.
