Red or Royal Blue for my Grulla?

All right, I have my black saddle, trying to find a black headstall I like, and the rest of my collection I'm trying to figure out. I'm getting a saddle pad, cotton webbed reins, and probably SMBII boots. But I'm trying to decide on which color...my two thoughts as they are my two favorite colors are red and royal blue, take into account please that I am a guy so no pink, purple, or pastels, but I'm open to more suggestions. I've also thought about just all black. Here's a couple pics of her.

Maroon, not bright red, for a solid-colored pad, & red/maroon, black, & white Navaho blanket.

Stay with cool colors. Blue, green, or maybe teal, like the color of this saddle pad

OP, which color is horse closer to: the much redder shade in first pic, or the much cooler shade in the second? I based my choices on the cooler shade--pic looked to me to reflect colors more accurately.
