My new boy is an unregistered appy. I do have the papers for his father though, but I am unable to find any info about him other than what is on his papers.
His sire is also an appy named VS Regals Baldy and I was wondering what the "VS" stands for?????
I tried doing some research on him and I can't find anything! If you give me is Sire's Sire's name and his Sire's Damn's name I might be able to find something...
Sometimes the Initials at the beginning of a registered name have to do with the stable it was bred at. Some people call it name branding. It's less permanent than skin branding but it makes the horse more recognizable while the name is still the same.
For example VS might be 'Virginia Stables'
Then again, it may have nothing to do with it. Some people just think initials are neat to put at the front of their horses name. A lot of people put their own initials.
