A reminder to be careful *GRAPHIC*

So my horse tonight was about to take some food out of my hand and right as he went to take the bite something spooked him and he clamped down on my finger and pulled back. Taking the tip of my finger with it. Now after a trip to the ER I have to see a hand surgeon on Friday. So just a reminder to be careful.

Odd that your finger nail is still intact.

Good reason for not hand feeding I would say.

Owowow...Horse bites are always nasty! Good vibes and thoughts your way...I had a horse bite me in the shin when I got on once, it's been a year and I am still numb in that spot and about three inches around it.

I had something similar happen except he didn't spook, just thought my finger was the bit and clamped down...

I hope you recover! Hugs!
