Well I visited my baby the other day and he is looking SO much better (pictures below April vs September)!
The April photo makes him look so much taller than he is...he's only about 15.2 (we never officially measured).
For reference in the second photo I'm 5'4" (though my knees are bendy in that photograph).
It looks like he may be growing into his butt a little bit, thank heavens. Butt-high baby boy.
My BO has some of her lovely students riding him 3-4 days a week. He's been naughty lately because of autumn XD
Everyone's saying how he has the floatiest amazing trot. The riders are used to my BO's Andalusians.
I'm going to start going back up 3 days a week to work at the farm again (family is going to come too
).That will help establish credit to pay off his training come December (our one year anniversary together
I finally purchased his own bridle, which will be arriving next Tuesday if all goes well. He needed a cob size XD
I don't know if it's a great pick, but it will do for now. It's a Plymouth Dressage Bridle. Gorgeous black leather.
As per my BO's suggestion, I also bought a Stubben Loose Ring Snaffle (5"). He's been working nicely on her bits.
We have decided NOT to move him down to Virginia. The farm where he is at currently is pretty much perfect.
He is very well taken care of (though not spoiled) and he has his field buddies...both mares XD
My boy is pimpin' and he knows it.
On a totally unrelated note, I'm turning 22 this weekend and going on a one-day trip to Busch Gardens.
Finally...a sort of vacation...first one in almost a decade.
