Rider Recovery Program

A cyber friend's BO (barn owner) has started this program. It is for people and horses who have had bad experiences, and are afraid.

Rider Recovery is a Christian-based program dedicated to helping riders and horses ”reconnect” after an incident or injury. Rider Recovery is a journey taken by the rider and horse, which takes them through the Healing Process necessary to Regain trust in one another. Rider Recovery works by rebuilding the foundation between horse and rider that has been replaced by FEAR! Rider Recovery, with its team of dedicated caring professionals will help assist you and your horse by Restoring the Relationship that can be destroyed by FEAR and also helps REGROW your FAITH!!!

I know how hard it can be to get back up on that bucking horse. :(

I have no personal knowledge of this program other than what is on the web site, but I do know how much this type of program can help. :)

That is a fantastic idea! I will definitely keep a hold of the URL; I meet more than a few people tentatively taking steps back into riding after an incident down the school and a program like this may well help thme greatly. You can only do so much in an hour group lesson!
