    Riding with dogs

I want to see other people's trail dogs :) Not trying to start a pros and cons post of riding with dogs, just want to see some cute pictures of your barn pups :)IMG_3369.jpgIMG_3929.jpg

    Yearling
This seems to be the only picture I have of my family's old girl Ruthy. She is a 9 year old Great Pyrenees. When she was about 4 she got clipped by a car and broke her pelvis. Sadly she is getting pretty arthritic, she doesn't go for many horse back rides any more. But in her time she put on probably a couple hundred or more miles easily.

She is a wonderful guard dog and keeps the cows, horses, sheep, chickens, and kids safe.
