My riding goal is to ride more. I would like to focus on doing more bareback work on the one horse, riding the other horse more and getting the third to build off last years success as far as muscle tone and not being a jerk when trotting a circle. I also want to try a dressage lesson on the one horse (harry) just to see what they say.

I would ride goats but those horns get in the way.

To get Link running 1D times and show more this year than last. Save up to go to IBRA Nationals, possibly NBHA Youth World. Get Kid going around the barrels. And lastly ride English more this year, have to build my tack back up.

My goal is to have one of my horses confirmed GP. I would also like to show Relana and do some fun trail rides with her! Maybe I'll show one of the young horses also...

I'm very excited to see what the new year has to bring!

I would really like to become a better dressage rider in general, whether this means being able to learn dressage aids much better, feel more comfortable riding in the discipline, or moving up from my advanced beginner stage into a more intermediate or advanced level.

On a more personal level, I would like to have things figured out with my girl. She was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis, and signs haven't been so great lately s to whether or not we will be able to ride again. We are considering taking a full break, no lunging or riding, until the weather warms up in a few months. This may mean taking a break from riding so I can focus on all of my other commitments, most importantly caring for my mare.

I didn't know what the heck last year would bring.. So who knows what 2013 has in store...

One goal is to really start showing this year. I have a lot of hope that I'll finally be able to.

Another goal is to finally jump an actual course.

I'd like to jump 3' (schooling) by the end of this year.

My goals are to get my 3 (almost 4) yr old OTTB going nicely at the trot and canter under saddle, start him over small crossrails, be able to ride him in the open arenas, and do a small schooling show or two!

    Love everyone's goals!

For this year in 2013 - one of the major goals I have for Drifter is to help him rehab successfully from his stifle injury.

I would also like to work on flying changes, and master the half pass. I also would love to give him more time of just trails with me. He loves trail riding, and we haven't done it too often.

I also hope to take him to a trail in alabama which is an over night camping trip.

Here is to 2013! Can't wait to see what it brings for all of us

After missing half of 2012 for riding and showing with my boy who had a terrible hock injury I'm looking to come back this year better than ever. He's been back undersaddle full time for 5 months (post rehab and all) and is schooling a pretty decent third level, better than it was before he was injured!

My goal for showing is to get out at third level this year with scores in the 70%'s. I'm hoping to get out to more clinics with new clinicians and expand my knowledge as well. By the late summer/fall I'm hoping that we'll have started schooling fourth level!! Right now fitness is our biggest issue. I need to get my butt to the gym more and I need to get his butt in the arena more.

I've had a significant breakthrough with his throughness which was something that has taken a long time. The fact that we've had it for a few rides and not sporadically has me just thrilled!!

Good luck with your goals everyone!

My goal for 2013 for my horse Hawk is to really work on desensitization. I ride him alone on the trail all the time and he has come a long way but, I would still like to see his spook factor go down a few notches. I'd be super happy with that if at all possible. He's such a sweet people loving horse-love him to death! I'm going to have to think a little harder to find a goal for my Joey. I need to find a new challenge for him that we both will enjoy.

My goals are to sharpen up my riding so that I can pass the riding exam to get into the college i've applied for.

To jump higher and with more confidence and to hopefully do my first riding show as i've only done in-hand classes.
