Riding in an indoor arena for the first time!!

Holy Moley! I just rode my horse in an indoor arena for the first time in her life and we did AWESOME!!! I'm so proud! Me and my friend board our horses together and her boyfriend is on the rodeo team, so he and his friend invited us to go ride in the indoor arena they practice in and Bonny did so well!!! I rode in my western and we were even starting to learn some new things....the spin that reiners do and pivoting on the haunch. Walk trot and canter were so nice! She lost all nervousness as soon as I got on her, then for the rest of the time she was a dream! They even practiced roping on a fake calf and she did aswsome! So did my girlfriends pony. Ahhh, I love it when horses are so smart and willing!!!

I love my horse!!

Have you hugged your horse today?

Isn't it great when everything goes perfect on your horse? I'm thinking of trying some roping from mine. I even bought a lariat, I want to see how she does dragging stuff too. Have to wait for warmer weather though, no indoor :(
