Riding pants

Do these actually exist? I don't mean jeans or breeches. I'm thinking something like yoga pants with knee patches/full seat. I want something less constrictive and loose-fitting, but I don't necessarily want to wear my jeans every time.

They make boot cut breeches, but they're fitted except for at the bottom.
I usually just wear yoga pants when I ride. :)

Kerrits, FITS, there's lots.. They call them riding tights.

Kerrits are awesome...Love them sooo much. I would either ride in Kerrits or my yoga pants.

Sounds like riding tights are what you're looking for. Are you avoiding breeches because they feel to restrictive, or because they are tight through the calf? If it's the calf tightness, then look for boot cut tights or breeches. I just bought some kerrits riding tights (they may still be on sale at dover!) and I love them! They are cool and lightweight. Stretchy like yoga pants, but with knee patches!

I wear riding tights every time! Mine are made by "Irideon" and they have the knee patch but you can get any different type. One warning about more thin pants... I tried wearing leggings one time and well, let's just say my crotch was not so happy during the whole lesson! It was pretty miserable.

If you like the look of jeans try HKM riding jeans, I have 3 different pairs. Full altos seat, strech denim and boot cut but they have many different styles

I really don't like breeches or the look, so I'm not really looking for riding tights. I just really don't like the restrictive feel of breeches/tights in general - from booty to ankle. I used to ride in yoga pants when I was younger, but wore through a few of them from all the time I spent in the saddle. That's why I was wondering if there's something out there that's similar.

Dover now sells a "yoga" breech. They have a fold over and honestly look like the current style yogas/running pants. I want to say they are the Rider International brand...
