    Can someone answer a question.
Its is raining and is forcasted to shower for the next few days.
My horse has rain scald, should I rug him with a waterproof coat or will him sweating be worse for his condition? Or should I just rug him with a cotton rug or no rug at all??

Can he be kept in a sheltered place? Barn/stall/run in

That would definitely be the obvious answer, but depending on how heavy the rain is/how hot it is, I would say a waterproof turnout would be the best option

I agree with the first reply, keep him sheltered.

Yeah, ONLY blanket him if there is no shelter for him to get into (light, waterproof)
