Sad news article

Ok so this has happened very recently here and I just thought I would share so we can all remember to keep our eyes open for cases of neglect/abuse and make sure to report them.

Sadly, in many cases it does no good to report them.

Law enforcement just does nothing.

Luckily in this case there were over 200 horses found emaciated and almost 100 dead which resulted in immediate action. I can see your point in the law enforcement though. I am happy and incredibly lucky to say that I live in an area where we place a good amount of value on our animals and how they are treated. I wish everywhere was like this and paid more attention to these things.

What I don't understand is what on earth was that person thinking in owning that many horses without the means to care for them? What is the point?
