Saddle up for St. Judes

so today a few friends and I attended a trail ride for the St. Judes childrens hospital. It's a ride where a person goes around requesting donations and however much you earn is donated to St. Judes. It's basically a trail ride just to earn money! It was a pretty nice ride (besides the donkey that kicked 6 horses and the one nagging lady) My mama had some pretty severe cancer so this was close to my heart. I can't imagine being a parent and having a child with cancer or being sick. Parents (most of em anyways), already do so much for their children. It's nice to be able to do what I can to help, even if it is such an indirect way to help.

Do any of you have things like this in your area?

You have to learn how to fall before you can learn how to ride~

Our boarding facility has a "Saddle Up for St. jude" fun show every October. All entry fees go directly to St. Jude. Each participant also gets sponsors to sponsor them in the show. I raised over $250 last year plus entry fees. It is a great charity!
