    Sam freshly groomed

Last Saturday after a 90 minute walk through the fields and pastures at the barn, I gave Sam a bath and spiffed him up.

Here he is sun drying. I think he saw a woozle. The photo before this one has his head down, ears floppy, and eyes half shut.

Thank you paintluvr. The pic does him no justice. He is a red dun and when the sun shines on him his mane and tail are very red and his overall red colored body glistens with gold. And he has great zebra striping on his legs, which I have been told is inherent with the color.

I told my seller on Saturday before he left for an auction that we had to keep Sam very safe. The idea of finding another willing to please horse with a big heart and gentle disposition will be hard enough without having to add in drop-dead gorgeous.

(After Sam, color will have to be a checkmark for me. I just think he is the most beautiful horse.)
