Saturday coffee and ...

Hope you guys with the weekend off get to relax and be lazy today.

I have the crankies because I found out last night that nooooooo, the guy I filled in for again because of his "medical leave" won't work for me today, he has his other job to go to. Little does he know that the woman we hired is to replace HIM. At least, 80 % of his hours. So I get to do another 13 10-14 hour day in a row stretch.( Only 3 more days after today...) Just gotta keep reminding myself that here I am paid by the hour....

Supposedly I'll have a Saturday off in a couple weeks, and am taking Bosses daughter to a small local fair to watch the horse show.

HI Dash, Apparently no one was around this morning. I've been working but stopped home for a break. The donuts look good but then I am in uniform lol. I hope your work situation gets better. I have to get back to work in a few minutes too!

I'm working the fair... again. Tomorrow is the last day then I am freeeeeeee!

I could work the MN state fair over Labor day weekend but I am scheduled to work security for the Republican National Convention in St. Paul. That will make my scheduled trip to Colorado right after that seem even better.

I'm being a lazy bum today, and doing nothing....altho my bad allergies/sinusitis has a lot to do with that....

Ah, I just got back from the mall & Kmart.
I went to the mall, got some stuff. I got a very cute handbag from American Eagle. Can't wait to wear it out!
Then I went to Kmart to look for a backpack for school. Didn't see any that caught my eye & they didn't have many to choose from. Most were for little kids, LOL! I have about 2wks to get one, so it's okay. I'll find one.

My chances of getting to Oregon are pretty slim. My CO trip is an annual elk hunting trek with some friends.

I had some relatives in OR a generation or two older than me that my parents visited many years ago and I don't know if there are any left there today.
It's another state that has some nice scenery that I may never get to see.
