School Based Apprenticeship

I turn 15 in june and was recently told about school based apprenticeships, so I decided to go to my schools career centre to get more information on equine apprenticeships.
I can start my apprenticeship in june but have to go back in may so the lady can arrange my timetable and workplace.

Basically, if I decide to do an apprenticeship I will spend three days a week at school one day at my workplace being paid and another day doing theory work, I think it will suit me because I don't really enjoy school and don't plan on doing year 12.

I'm not choosing to do an apprenticeship because I want days off school I've thought long and hard about this and believe I would really benefit from it, I want to work with horses and what better way to gain experience than doing an apprenticeship were I will gain formal education including certificates and hands on work.

So, do you think its a good idea?
