Seasonal grass questions with a chart provided

Okay guys. I am wondering if I just need to get a few different bags of seed and have available for those types of the season when I need to plant the seed for my horse pasture? I will just throw the seeds on top of the ground via my broadcast seeder and I wanted to know also if the different type of seed from season to season will grow over the other. Here is a chart I googled so I guess I will be planting a few different times of the season to ensure I have grass available yr round.
