    Seeking Winter Coat Advice

    Hello all, new here.

Would love some advice on a liner for a waterproof turnout for my 13yr. Old quarterhorse.

He will be outdoors during the day/night when the temperature drops into the 20's and I am going to purchase a 200 or 300 gram liner to go underneath his unlined waterproof sheet.

He DOES have a natural furry winter coat and I want him to be warm but not over-dressed.

Please advise: 200 gram or 300 gram?

    Thanks

If he has a furry coat you might not need to blanket at all. If you want to buy one though, I would go for the lighter one.
