Sell her?

How much could I get for Piper if I decided to sell her once she was completely finished? I looked on dreamhorse and got this.

Her sire is for sale for $4500
DreamHorse.com Horse ID: 1495253 - Enduring Tradition

Others with Impressive lines range in my area from
$1000 to $15000

Stats:

Registered Name: Challengen Tradition (HYPP N/N)
Breed: AQHA
Pedigree: (I spelled her name wrong on here sorry)
Challengin Tradition Quarter Horse
Height: 14.3-15hh (she was sticked at both 15 first with 14.3 being freshly trimmed)
Color: Solid Bay
Markings: None
Gender: Mare
Birthdate: May 19, 2007
When finished she will have been shown Western Pleasure and possibly barrels. My BO's daughter is going to use her for 4h and some fun shows. Piper is extremely quiet. Takes everything in stride. So quiet that I might keep her for my kids to ride. She doesn't spook easily and when she does she doesn't throw a fit. Does good in electric fencing. Easy keeper. Good hooves.

I'm just wondering. Not really intending to sell her. I still have her listed on dreamhorse for $2000. If someone offers me that I might...

I think... if you're hard pressed to sell her.. You need to pick pleasure /or/ barrels. Why?

Serious Western Pleasure Buyers: "Oh please, she's done barrels? She's no pleasure horse."

Serious Barrel People: "She's been taught to go slow, no thanks."

That's just my $.02

Without seeing her move, and what she currently can an can't do etc. Id say right now in our area you could get around $2500 for her just based on her pedigree, and her over all look.
She's a bit bum high right now, but she should grow out of that soon,\.
She has a sweet look to her, a nice kind eye.

PaintsPWN- I agree. We'll see how she goes.

Maverick- I like your sig comment ; )

Thanks you guys. I think I have her priced accordingly. The only reason I'd sell her is to have a chance at a Sporthorse that is for sell near me.

When are you going to start her? I'd like to see her doing some pleasure work, she just looks like she'd do well.

If she her my horse I would start her lightly and wouldn't sell her for less that 3K.
