I'm going to agree with Jen. I like the name Sterling!!! (my daughter's middle name was going to be Sterling if she would have been a boy!)

What a cutie, I'd love to see him come this spring after he has fuzzied up for the winter then shed back out. I wonder if his color will hold or change?

Sorry for the double post. I just went back and re-read that this pony is about 3, correct?

Sterling is an aweful big name for a small pony...and that's kinda cute in and of itself.

Better than what we think, what kind of names do you like for horses.

I've noticed that of the horses you've mentioned, their names have been simple ones. Bobo, Angel?, Patch... Do you have any name type preferances???

HI Amy, no Angel - way too girly even for a mare. The last mare I had was Alice. Then there was Blondie, Brandy, Claudie, Tess.

I like simple 1 or 2 syllable names. Sterling (sorry Jen) is a little too pretentious for a 13h pony besides his color is more like Tarnish.

I'm thinking Pockets since he has been "in my pocket" looking for treats every time I'm in the field.

What else you got?

LOL.. I knew it was an A name, I just couldn't remember. Now that you've said it, of course it was Alice!!! Hehehe

OK. Simple name for a Tarnished looking, 3yo, 13h, companion to Bobo....... lemme think.......

OK... This may be too campy for ya, but....I know that Bobo is Lintons Hangin Judge (impressive pedigre btw) What if you named the little fella....Jury? Then you would have the Judge AND Jury???

But then again you didn't sound like you really cared for Bobo's reg.

That's GREAT and I can rename Charlie to Bailiff!!! But no ... you're right, too campy for me. Very clever though!

[Oh, please don't capitalize the "I" in impressive or he may get mistaken as having Impressive bloodlines (LOL).]

Ya wanna know what's funny, I was actually thinking that I should reword it so that I wasn't referencing the "Impressive" bloodlines! Should have listened to my gut! (I changed that for you in case someone was to google your fella )

I'll keep thinking on names...

One of my daughters suggested "Mac".....
