She gets angry at me!

Okay so to start this off I had no idea what part to put this in.. So I stuck it in here. You can move it if you really want to..

Im not sure if its just a mare thing or sophies personality but I get in trouble off of her if I don't visit her for like a week or 2. She's only recently started to do it and the weather has been quite bad in the last week or so, meaning I couldnt get out there or ride. She gets really cranky at me and runs away, doesnt walk up to me, ignores me and acts like im not there and im not sure if its just payback because I didnt go see her or not. Yesterday for the first time ever tried to bite me.. twice! She's so cheeky! I was wondering if any of your horses do this to you?

No, it's not payback. You're anthropomorphizing.

Hard to say :) Im not going to lie, I actually had to google that word! And I still don't understand. >.<

You're assigning human emotions to her. She's not a person. She doesn't get jealous of time you spend away from her. In fact, if she's like most horses she prefers to be left alone. Her nipping and acting "cranky" are probably because she doesn't want to be worked at all.

Ahh, that's a big word! I think it means overreacting or somthing. Too many smart poeple here lol :)

I think she is upset at you! And I disagree Horses have emotions. My horses get upset if I miss a week.

Horses do have emotions.

Punishing you for "abandoning" them is not among them, though.
