Sophie is a really smart horse, like too smart for her own good.. I like to think that she has emotions and she most definately shows them too me. I know she gets cranky and everything (especially when she is in season) so i would say that she does show similar emotion.

I disagree to what whats her name said (forgot login) about them not having emotions. I believe that they DO have emotions I see it every day.

I don't think she is trying to pay you back for not working her. I think her behavior is escalating as you are not correcting it.

I don't think it's cheeky, cheeky implies cute. Biting is unacceptable.

i didnt mean it by saying she is paying back for not working her. Just the fact that i didnt visit her.. not implying that i had to work her.
She only ever bites when i dont visit her, she never does it other than that because she knows that she is not allowed.

I think it is that she misses you. You and her have a good relationship. Is she in the paddock with any other horses? It may be that she just wants a little company.

You have a good relationship with your mare, she is just 'upset' that her partner is not visiting as often. YOU are apart of her herd. She wants you with her.
