I'm so excited for when Lacey finishes shedding!
The first summer I had her she was plain "white" with really light, lame-o "fleabites" and none of her little spots showed through her winter coat. Then last summer she had the most beautiful, classy, steel gray flea bitten spots all over and she even showed herself to have a small "bloody shoulder" marking. Then, as she grew her winter coat, she kept a few darker spots, like the "bloody shoulder."
So, needless to say, I'm VERY excited to see how she's changed this winter. Her winter coat grew in with a very dark spot right on her bum so I'm hoping for another "bloody shoulder" right there and then I'm hoping that her original "bloody shoulder" is bigger!
I took a ton of pictures of her last summer so I can compare her to herself really well, which is another exciting bit: photo documentation! I absolutely love photo documentation.
Lacey's a beautiful lady in whatever she wears but I love her classy spots!
Does anybody else have a horse that changes colors and that they're excited about? What changes are you hoping for?
