Shipping a horse.

Asking this for a friend.

She is looking to ship a horse from American Falls, Idaho to Monroe, Washington. It's just over 700 miles. She was quoted a price at $575 but doesn't know if that's a good deal or not. Any idea on that, or any recommendations on shippers, she would really appreciate. Thanks much, folks!

I'd say that's a very good price. I was quoted $300 to ship a horse a 30 minute drive. I sure found a friend with a trailer I could borrow quickly after that.
