Shipping/transportation

A friend of mine found a horse that she wants but is across the country from us. So she will need to ship. I've never done it so I can't be of any assistance to her but I said I'd do some research for her.

Has anyone had to do transportation for their horse? What were your experiences? What are good cross country companies to use? I've heard bad things about Bob Hubbard, have any of you?

I've only heard good things about Bob Hubbard, but never used him.

After many recomendations I've used Hauled Wright (www.hauledright.com). I LOVE them, and have used them more than once! :) Very reasonable fee as well :)

My mom won't use any other company other than a company that starts with Sally, idk the rest, but we use it for our $50,000 + race horses, so they must be good!
