Sick of this weather yet ?

In all my years (and that has been a few)- I've never longed for an indoor arena before - but in the middle of my training of my new horse (Dixie) - I had to put the brakes on due to the extreme cold weather we have recently experienced!
Now, I know it was January and you have to expect this in Canada at this time - however when it drops to below -30 degrees and your ears & nose are about to break and fall off while you are gaiting the horse - I am not too sure just how much the horse enjoys being there too - remember she is running around naked and you are wrapped up in warm clothes! So I am looking for a slight change in this weather due to having to be outside because Dixie (& I) have a lot to learn! Well I could also win the Lotto Max - what do you think!

I have an indoor, not heated and I am really really ready for some temps at least above 25 degrees (us).I am sure the horses would like some nice fresh grass to graze on also.never thought about them running around "naked" lol.I always thought like they have a fur coat on or something.(I still blanket all my guys when it gets below 20 degrees at night.)

Luckily Mississippi doesn't get near as as cold as other states. We get a lot of rain though and it's very annoying. I'm ready for dry weather again, and not sloppy wet, gloomy weather.

We've already got over 4 in. In West fork, Arkansas and we never get that much. And as I type we're getting more snow. By the time it stops we'll have maybe 6-7 inches. I'm dieing. We've never had this much. But hay it's kinda OK for me since my horse has a cut on the bottom of his hoove from the farrier cutting him so I can't ride anyway. He's all better now though with a little limp.

I don't know, if you buy a Lotto Max ticket that makes you my enemy!

It does not get near that cold here, but even I am willing to say I am sick of winter!

    Ahahaha ^^

I think it's gotten up to -32 here. I don't really like it but at least are water line to the barn didn't freeze! Weird because the heater line is broke.

Nope, not totally sick of it yet! LOL! I am putting to good use all this snow, by snowshoeing and getting into shape while the horses relax and laugh at me! We are now buried in snow, with more coming this weekend. Don't know where we are going to move it as the banks are way to high now.

I am so beyond sick of this weather. It's been the coldest winter in forever down here in Georgia, and I can hardly wait for at least one day of warm weather. I'm miserable!!!

:) It's strange hearing about all the snow overseas because at the moment where I live in Australia we are dealing with a massive heat wave of over 45 degrees (at least it feels like it) of heat everyday. You just have to take one step and you're dripping in sweat.. so I can honestly say that I am sick of this weather now.
