Silly question... :)

I've been around horses my whole life (im 13 1/2) and so has my mom...when I was born we owned a boarding stable and I got my first pony when I was 5(who sadly passed away last week...) Anyway, this is a funny question but its real...does EVERYONE think that having finally saved up for and gotten a riding lesson is like, the best!? Would everyone jump up and down at the opportunity to just sit on a horse!? And does everyone dream of learning to jump and owning their own horse and having an amazing bond with that horse and accomplishing amazing goals with him? Or was I born with the "horse gene"? I honestly don't know if everyone feels like its their biggest dream to be able to jump a cross country course, or to just clear a jump!! Hahaha I feel like why wouldn't that be your dream I guess it just feels natural to me to love to ride Hahaha I literally want to know

No, not even close to everyone. Not even every horse person wants those things.

Relish in your enthusiasm! Keep it up, keep it positive. That's awesome that you saved up for your first lesson by yourself. Good for you! Having strong dreams makes the future happen! :)

No, if everyone felt that way I would have plenty of people to ride with! But we can dream!

I do ballet 3 days a week and love ballet but it is pricey and we also have both of my brothers in college atm and my family doesn't have money for lessons. I save up for all of my lessons and try to learn as much as possible from each one. I really dream of going to a show and I'm SO jealous of the girls in my school & class who can do so much! I volunteered at a benefit show and saw some of my classmates ride and they were SO GOOD (well, to me and compared to me :P) But I really dream of being as good as them!

*jealous!*
You can't really do that around here...we live in a very horsey neighborhood (most of the people have horses!) but its probably like...10 miles from the nearest drive thru!! Lol! And we don't live in a very horsey area or town, its just our little street that has tons of horses.

Ours is a 14 mile trip there and back, we make a day out of it. You should see the looks we get and the people that want to talk to us!

Haha where do you live? Is it in a rural-ish area? All of our drive thrus are in really busy areas that I don't even think allow horses xD
