Talking Sites, Jobs...

Okay, well I'm looking for a summer job, preferably in the DelMarVa general area (PA and NJ are included) but I don't know where to even begin looking. So if y'all could list some site that might help me, it'd be mucho appreciated.

And just so you know, this is horse related. What I'm looking to do is work at a barn in exchange for room and board for me and Frazier, plus a small pay a week (groceries) and in return, I would muck, clean, exercise horses, handle lessons, train horses, be a groom at shows, babysit, house sit, pet sit, etc., etc.

So if you know of any sites (or anyone even) it would help me. And I already know about craigslist ;)

Oh, and I would start after I graduate from highschool, so I will be 18 by then. Thanks.

If its going to be a live-in arrangement, most places would not be willing to just take you on over the summer, they'd be looking for something more permanant. You would also do better at looking at REALLY large scale places (that would have on-site apartments for example) like a breeding facility or perhaps a facility that houses racehorses in the off season.

^^ i disagree, there is actually a whole site called Equestrian Jobs and Staff, Horses and Horseboxes/Trailers for Sale and Equestrian Dating that is full of horsey jobs, and many like horse camps are live-in. I always thought that would be such a great way to spend a summer! good luck!

Well, where I would live wouldn't have to be a full scale apartment, just a room with A/C and a bathroom would do. And Frazier would probably be on field board.

And thanks! Seems like a great site, I'll totally check it out <3
