Snapple

As some of you know, a while back, my dad wanted to sell or give away Snapple. I don't live with him at the moment, and my sister is taking her horse when she moves (if she can find a barn to board at) so Snapple will be all alone without Spooky if he moves. I don't know what to do. I have had Snapple since I was 10, so for 8 years. I don't get out there very often right now though and she's just standing around eating in their field right now, which I know she likes but she can't stand around for the rest of her life. Although she is 26 now, doesn't she need some kind of excersise? That's another thing. She is a Shetland x Quarter horse and I used to ride her when I was younger but can't anymore. Occasionally I hop on bareback. What can I do with her to excersize her and keep her healthy? I do not want to sell her, I definitely don't but I am wondering what is better for her.

Can anyone help? Thanks so much!

Heres a picture for anyone who doesn't know her.

Hey, I hope you don't have to sell. But if you do please get ahold of me.

BTW Did you see the Alberta Group Thread?

Sounds like a tough situation. I hope you don't have to sell Snapple.

Thanks guys, I hope not as well. Just don't know what else to do with her.

Fehr- I did and I got your PM as well. Thank you for thinking of me, I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it though, but I will for sure let you know ASAP!

It's a shame Snapple isn't closer to me. I would take her in a heartbeat.

As for exercise, there are all sorts of things you can do. You can do something as simple as lunging her, teaching her to drive, or even teach her to do tricks. Any of those will help keep her mind alert, her body fit, and you still get to enjoy her.

You could always lease her out.
If she's a great beginner pony, I'm sure someone will want to ride her. Or if you don't want to do that, see if there is someone that no longer has a horse, and cannot afford to ride, to exercise Snapple for you.
