Snow Pants?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone has ever ridden in snow pants before for winter riding? I saw the Mountain Horse riding pants and similar items, but really don't want to spend that much on a pair of winter riding pants. I was thinking of getting a pair of snow pants, but am wondering if you slip around in the saddle a lot. I ride western and my saddle seat is suede, but still wondering as snow pants are slippery many times.

Only if it's cold enough to wear them. If I think I can live without them I won't wear them. I absolutely hate wearing them. When it's windy I'll wear chaps, but I tend to stay away from snow pants

Horze WinterRider Pants | Horze Horse Tack & Riding Apparel I ordered these! They are amazing and very comfy for winter riding. You can work in them and ride, they have a full suede seat and reflective stripes as well. (: This coupon DOES work I believe 40% off. LIFESTYLE1

Buy a pair of carhart overalls. You can get them at a lot of stores. Tractor supply carries them and has an off brand for a little cheaper. They will give you more grip in the saddle.
