There are literally thousands of Americans, and some Aussies, too, that want to do this (and are doing it in some cases) . They are the survivalist bunch. Some to extremes; building underground houses with gun ports and other ways to keep the "hoard" at bay when teh world goes to H### and a handbasket.

The thing is, real survival is dependant on . . . . .


COOPERATION. That's how human being survived all hard times. Isolation is not a long term solution.

Oh I have no desire to get that carried away lol.

I just want to be able to survive without needing the outside.

Take walmart for instance. Due to my special needs animals and my income coming to a disagreement I need to shop there since it is the cheapest. I cringe everytime, the place is disgusting.

Now I would like to not need to go there and be able to sustain myself and only go into such places for sh*ts and giggles.
