So I think I'm in love.....

The trainer that my friend has her horses at is a really great guy. he lets us help around alot. I get on alot of his green horses BC I'm a big girl and he weighs 126 lbs. So he wants a weight change. Today I got on a 8 y/o Haflinger gelding that had only been ridden 3 times (used to be a stud was gelded in march). I LOVE him!!!! All we did was walk, b/c he's so green. We did circles in the round pen and a little bit outside. He's just so friggin cute!! the guy who owns him doesn't want to sell but the trainer is hell bent to buy that horse. lol. He has an unbelievably long mane. And he's short and thick. He's underweight a lil but he's beautiful. The trainer said if he can buy him that he would make me a good deal on him. And I'm sure I will get to ride him more. I hope I can afford him.......

good luck to you on that! I think i fell in love today also! with a pair of sweet brown eyes and a nice farmer's tan! Well, okay, in horsey terms, he is a chesnut but looks copper-tone in the sun. He is an appaloosa with spots on his rump. He is green broke, and I hope I can afford him too!

congrats to both of you

A good cowboy always has a better horse at the end of the ride, a poor cowboy will be afoot reguardless of the horse.

Lol. I'm gonna be saving all my money for him. no more pedicures. lol. I hope I my friend decideds to go over to Joes(horse trainer) today. I really only go with her. I could go by myself but idk... she's paying to have her horses there and I dont have one there. So idk if I should go over there alone. I dont want to be in his way. Even though I know he wouldnt mind. lol. I think he really enjoys when me and Rox come over.

Aww, well i hope you get to go over =] im sure he does, me might get tired of talking to horses and need a couple of beautiful girls to cheer him up ;] Do you know how much he is? They are asking $1200 for mine, but they will go down because I told them I would help them make a website to advertize their stallion. I just don't know though. i got a job now though, so that will help.
