I also like Maple Creek a lot. Skyline reminds me of the Chili from Ohio...

Anyway, it seems to me like you really like Maple Creek. I do too. I say go for it. My barn has a joint name and both names have absolutely no meaning except that the BO likes them.

See, for me, I would never put Creek/River in a stable name unless there was a creek/river right there. Right there being is beside the property, or goes through the property.

    But that's me.

I have to agree, truth in advertising would state there is a creek if it's in the name. Maples Acres, Maple Haven, Maplelands....
It irks me that my house is in Indigo Creek subdivision, the only creek is my ditch in the rain.

What about Maple Moon Ranch? Skyline's nice, but it makes me expect the place to have a view, kind of like Skyline drive.

I agree. Where I board is called Seven Oaks Equestrian Center. It isn't original, but there are indeed seven large oaks trees lining a portion of the driveway.

Velvets that is a good point, it would be weird if there wasn't actually a creek nearby. I really like Puck's suggestion too! Maple Moon ranch... Sounds inviting to me.

Okay, guys! I think we're going to go with Maple Creek(and, if it's such a bother, we'll find a place with a creek! Lol). Thanks, everyone!
