Red face Somedays I feel like something is wrong withme....

I just want to know I am not the only person around that is like this! Because some days I feel like I am alone! I think that I have horse ADD!! I am like talking to people and we can be having a regular discussion and I am like horse.... LOL! It is like " hey, did you know it was suppose to snow today?" Me:" nope is it going to.... HORSE!" Then my mind starts thinking horse, and I know I am getting on peoples nerves!! I can not help it!!!

Um, I can't say I randomly shout HORSE in the middle of a sentence. I do try to turn every conversation so its about horses in general, but that's more of an entertainment factor then anything

LOL! I don't literally shout horse. But my brain does. That's what I do turn everything around to be about horses.

Guilty of this too. My fiance and I both have this problem. He never shuts about about "chevy this, truck that, tire this, ford that, this other engine thing, that other oil thing blah blah blah," etc. fishing, bring in a bass, "thats the Bentley of the bass world baby!!"

Same for me. Hows the weather? Its perfect for a trail ride.
How are you? Im good, Abby and I got her left lead!
Conversation about groceries...... apple juice or grape juice? Annie likes apple juice in her popsicles.... (yes, I freeze juices and drop them in her bucket or grain in the summer when its brutal hot out)
Everything is easier for me to process when compared to something horse, so I know how you feel when everything people say leads to horse for you lol.

Its that whole passion thing. When you eat sleep breathe poop and exist for your passion, its bound to be the mot prevalent thing on your mind!

I laughed when I red AnalisaParalyzer's response. It's the same way here where my bf just talks about his cars and his truck, new engine, new brakes, new fuel line, big wheels.. You And I start talking about getting a horse again and buying a farm...He goes on and on about his truck which is his passion, and I just switch the conversation to horses and buying a farm. LMAO! God bless him, he is so patient with me. Lol!! Yes, I think it's definitely a passion.

I went to a horse auction a few years back. I have a pasture full of horses, it was more of a fun/educational excursion. I was so busy gawking at the ponies that I kept walking into stuff. You'd think the thrill would've worn off after how many years of horse ownership? NOPE.

I do this and it kind of gets on my nerves. I really can't have a normal conversation without relating it to something involving a horse. Its like my brain doesn't function outside that realm. My poor sister doesn't mind it. She's used to it and she can relate since she's ridden a couple times and understands what I'm talking about. That's her adaptation to growing up with me. But everyone else? Forget it. They don't understand anything that comes out of my mouth and it can be a little frustrating when the only experience I have with their chosen topic came from a barn.

I guess I should be alright with it. But it'd be nice to try and rewire my brain into normal conversations when the opportunity presents itself with one.

I don't do this with friends that done like/have horses mostly because they just roll their eyes at me so I resist the urge. But I think mine and my closes friends conversations are mostly based around our horses, and I'm lucky enough to have a horse crazy partner too! Lol!
