Smile Something funny happend at the barn

So my friend got a new horse. A chestnut mare. Very sweet. I've only seen the girl ride her a few times because she's sooo busy at work.

So today she came to the barn to ride. She has horse on cross ties... so this girl was saying that her horse does not like her. She only likes the girl's friend.

So to prove it...the horse owner stood infront of the horse to hug her head. The horse put her head up as to say *you can't reach me*. So then the friend did the same thing...but this time the horse dropped her head and the girl gave her a hug.

Why do you think she does that to the friend and not to the owner?

The horse even drops her head for me when I want to pet her head.

The owner is a nice, sweet, quiet girl. So I don't get it.

But we all thought it was funny though. We all had some good laughs today. Which I needed!

The owner may signify work to the horse, where as everyone else is just friendly. The horse probably just associates the owner with being ridden. Or just doesn't like her. Lol.

Horse's totally get self fulfilling prophecy. My friend always complains her horse won't stand still while he mounts. I rode him last week for the first time ever. Stood like a statue and got right on. He stood because I expected him to. He moved because she expected the same.
