Sometimes horses are like Aliens

I made it out to the barn today, (cannot ride now due to bum back) for some time with horseflesh. I was walking down the hill in the beautiful winter sunshine and Diablo, our resident Fresian, came ambling over to meet me. He is wary of me now since before he was so pushy that I had to be firm with him and he remembers. I was kind of testing the thing with my core to see how much it would take of putting it on him or pushing me energy against him to see if he would move away.
No response. Then I just let him come up to me and I became really passive and let him sniff me all over. His eye was fathomlessly deep and brown. I can't see what's in there, but I know another being resides there. This being doesn't speak my language and is capable of flattening me right then and there. I am really close to the being and I can hear it breath, but I can't read it's thoughts. I have to trust that he wont' hurt me. He is just SO close now and huge and foreign and it's this amazing feeling of jumping into space to be next to this being and just trust that he will let me touch him and wont run away or bite or ?
What's it like to be that big? What's it like to have those dark bottomless eyes? What's it like to read body language that accutely?

I feel that I am in the presence of another worldly being, an alien from another culture and world. Amazing that he does't just zap me with a ray gun and get about his business.
