How old are you? I'm guessing teens to 20's? Get out of your comfort zone and go LIVE. Mame Dennis (Auntie Mame) once said, "Life is a banquet and most poor SOB's are starving to death.". You can be settled and stay where you have always been and do what you've always done because you've always done it that way, when you're old. And by old I mean 80's up!

New is new and it makes us anxious and afraid. And we tend to expect way more of ourselves than anyone else and are tougher on ourselves than anyone else because we have unrealistic expectations and goals.

If they are looking for someone to train their way, then that means they don't expect you to know it all. They're looking for someone with a good attitude and a willingness to learn. If that's you, get out there and wring every single thing you can from the experience. You'll have great stories to tell later.

Send us post cards from all the different places you get to experience that a lot of people will only see through pictures and post cards.

Just know that you will probably work harder and longer hours than you ever have .. you will be more tired and feel more underappreciated than you ever had .. there will be days when you just.don't.want.to.get.out.of.bed ....

... but it will test you and you'll come away either wiser and more determined than ever .. or beat up and knowing this isn't for you.

In any case .. you HAVE to do it!

Travelling can be a great experience! You see different parts of the country/world, meet new people and make new friends. You will see so many different ways of doing things and in the end, you go home. Sometimes getting out of your comfort zone can be the best thing for a person - I left Canada the day after my 19th birthday... I was so beyond scared I can't put it into words, but it led me to where I am today. It will make you into a better person then you already are, and will look pretty darn awesome on a resume.
