It is sooooo HOT!

I live in South Florida and it hit a record 97 degrees yesterday. It is only early May and I feel like my horses are going to melt any day. (And Me too). They have big Oak trees to stand under but they are still poring the sweat. Does anyone have any good suggestions how to beat the heat this summer?? ..........My older gelding can't be stalled under a nice fan during the day because of arthritis he gets to stiff, so suggestions other then that.

Aw, that sucks. :( Hmm, make sure they have plenty of cold water, also a nice cold rinse with the hose would help! On the really hot days, I just cool Lexi off with the hose. She enjoys it.
Also, fly sheets are good, they protect the flys & are breathable for the sun's heat.
