 So I have been saving like mad for last 2-3 weeks buying this lovely 3yo TB gelding who (fingers and toes crossed) will make a good showjumper for me.

Well today I had all the money for him :D very happy! Then I get the best ever phone call, my friends dog is in the pound and she does not have the money to bail him out so I give her the money and I am now short to pay my horse and have to wait until wednesday! I feel like crying I have been getting so excited and stoked about buying him and I have to wait again!

Vent over!

I live in australia so might be a bit different to you but it cost $90AU

He was turned into the pound by her x boy friend, it was his way at getting back at her for dumping him. It was lucky we rang all the pounds and vets early and asked them to keep a look out for him!

Oh and she broke up with him because he was inmature, he is under the belief he is more matured mentally than her *rolls eyes*

Does not matter now anyway, he is back home with her being fed and loved! He is the sweetest dog a bit unco (feet wise) but sweet! He is a bull mastiff X wolf hound he is approx 50cm high now and is only 6 months old

Update!

Well yesterday I got my new horsies! I actually did not buy the one I was planning on buying after I discovered a few health issues that were undisclosed (thank god for the internet!)

So I was bored on the internet looking at a horse for sale website when I stumbled across a stud closure sale and I have not one, not 2 but 3 gorgeous WB foals and 2yo!

My friend's dog has now also been left at my place as she has been scared since he turned up at the pound thanks to her X and she has been receiving a few nasty letters and late night phone calls (Very mentally matured is he not, he left his number on caller ID! ha!)

The pup however he is not in very good books with me at the moment after getting over excited with my new WB 5 month old filly, he was playing and jumped up and bit her on the chest causing a skin flap, so no huge dilema's she has been treated by vet and is on medication, she will live but she is not so keen on him now!

I can't totally blame him he is still a pup! and he has grown to he is probably about a good 5cm taller! He is just nmot allowed near the foals now and is tied up when I go over to see them.

I will have to upload pics of them all soon!

:lol:Just what my dad wanted more horses on the place!

God, Karma, being bored out of your mind and having access to the internet  I really don't care what ever it is I am just very thankful I found out and was able to make the right decision!

I cant stop patting the foals they are so cute! I am still pinching myself as well! It was not until yesterday when the lady rang me up and said they were on the truck that it really sunk in that they were mine!:D

I will try and up loadpics onight in the mean time I am off to pat the cute little fuzzy bubs again:D
