Sorry but I got super excited last night when I noticed that April is starting to shed pretty good. She nuzzled my hat and I took it off to find hairs all over it!!! It is suppose to be in the high 20s low 30s this week too...
ya I know Im a nerd but Im pretty excited to have that ice out of the arena
Hey AL, I'm very excited for you. Hope some of that enthusiasm can morph over here to Maine. Was encouraged a week ago, but with this last storm, and now they're predicting another, I'm getting really bummed! Maybe If I clean and condition my saddle and bridles I'll feel more hopeful.
BTW - neither of my horses are shedding yet, when they start I'm sure I'll get psyched!
We've had a pretty mild winter but I know what you mean. I notice the buds starting on the trees, the spring flowers poking there heads through and I get a light hearted feeling like a weight is about to be lifted off my brain.
Its suppose to be 85 here by Friday. I hope we get a spring and not completely skip to summer which happens here a lot.

Ya I dont want to get too excited for warm weather (just in case it doesnt happen)
Where I a boarding doesnt have an indoor and with the rain we had gotten earlier really made everything icy (My horse is about 20 minutes north of Anoka) It is just a private farm and Im the only boarder.
