Good for the girl who lent her horse. Perhaps if she didn't, other girl wouldn't have gotten back on, and may have developed some type of fear from not getting back in the saddle. Sportsmanship is not seen enough.
^ This as well.

I know Desiree would not risk getting back on Snoopy after the wreck, but it must have shaken her. She needed to get right back on, even if it wasn't on her own horse.

Not to bash but I agree- my own horses health would be more important to me than continuing the show too.

Good for the girl that lent her horse- shows a lot about someones character to have that kinda hospitality.

I don't see the problem with staying to ride if the vet checked out the horse and somebody close had already volunteered to take it home?

Rodeo communities are the best IMO I'll never hesitate to help out a friend with horses if they're in need

OUCH!! Glad everyone is ok.

I don't think there is anything stupid about what happened. Horses get hurt just as much jumping and doing cross country and racing and such as during western gymkhana games... When there is high speed and horses, accidents can and do happen.

My hat off to the girl who "donated" her horse. Sportsmanship is everything and Im glad to see people still maintaining a friendly, helpful attitude during competition.

I love horse people! I'm glad everyone is okay.
