I have spring fever BADLY There is still too much snow, cold and wind...I haven't ridden in weeks. My poor horses are bored out of their skulls. ...and stuck in such a small space because their paddock is too full of snow. We got a real lot of it this year.
I'm trying to spend time grooming and whatever else, but it just doesn't make up for the lack of riding....I'm starting to feel so depressed.
How are you all doing waiting for the better weather?
Weather's not too bad here in Yorkshire, UK at the min. Cold, but blue skies and sunshine! Spring flowers are coming through, only another month or so till first show!
I love boarding where there is an indoor arena. Its still cold but at least there is no wind and my horse isn't getting fat. @ weeks and I think I will be outside
it's ok....don't miss the snow at all, think it snowed here 3 times...... don't miss the cold days of having to unblanket my horse and tack up and then blanketing the horse and walking down the road to the areana in the cold and snow....it's been really nice (in the 70"s) here in ks.....
well, the last couple of days has been 40-50 degrees, but the snow is taking forever to melt, we got too much this year. We went riding yesterday! But only up the road...Ella and I like to ride in the fields and woods...it'll be a few more weeks until we can do that again.
